Job Opportunity: Junior Benefits Operations Specialist

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM ? 6:00 PM (Peru time)

About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Benefits Operations Specialist to join our team and serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding their employee benefit needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to grow within benefits administration while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Process carrier enrollments, terminations, and changes across multiple benefit providers.

Manage employee benefit enrollments, updates, and terminations within the HRIS system.

Conduct routine audits to ensure data accuracy across benefit platforms.

Communicate with WSEs to gather required documentation for benefit processing.

Handle retirement enrollments and loan enrollments within payroll.

Administer COBRA plans, including eligibility review, premium collection, and compliance.

Research and resolve enrollment and billing discrepancies.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clarity in payroll, billing, and compliance processes.

Serve as a point of contact for benefit-related inquiries.

Support benefit renewals and open enrollment setup.

Qualifications

This is a junior-level position; we are seeking candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Minimum 1 year of experience in benefits administration or similar role (preferred).

At least 1 year of customer service experience.

Basic understanding of group insurance and benefits terminology.

Experience with retirement plans (401(k), pensions) is a plus.

Knowledge of benefits laws and regulations is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

English proficiency: C1 level (advanced) required.
