JOB OPENING: BUYER

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage purchasing activities while supporting client-facing sales interactions, with strong commercial acumen and a customer-focused mindset. Mining industry experience is highly desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchasing Management

- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier identification through negotiation and award.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchasing activities and transactions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Sales Support & Client Interaction

- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and support quotation activities.
- Ensure timely communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

Vendor Relationship Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Negotiate favorable commercial terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance.

Market Research

- Monitor market trends, pricing, and industry developments.
- Identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings and competitive advantages.

WHAT WE?RE LOOKING FOR

- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, trade operations, sourcing, or a related commercial role.
- Proven experience managing procurement activities e Icoterms and supporting customer-facing processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Mining industry experience is highly preferred.
- Advanced English ? spoken and written (mandatory)
