Job Title: Senior Integration Engineer Key Skills: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Webhooks, Event-Driven Architecture, Batch Processing, Git, AI-assisted development tools Experience: 5+ years of experience. Work Model: Remote in Mexico

Main Responsibilities

- Design, build, and operate scalable and reliable integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems
- Own the end-to-end integration lifecycle ensuring data accuracy and seamless communication across distributed systems
- Design and implement API contracts, data mappings, and transformation logic
- Define and implement synchronization strategies (batch, real-time, or event-driven)
- Build resilient integrations incorporating idempotency, retries, ordering, and backfill mechanisms
- Design and consume REST APIs and Webhooks
- Manage API versioning and ensure backward compatibility
- Validate data quality and consistency using SQL/PostgreSQL
- Develop reconciliation processes to maintain data integrity across systems
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability best practices
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners to deliver integration solutions
- Document technical decisions and propose architectural improvements
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality

Required Qualifications

- Advanced English C1
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Integration Engineer
- Strong experience with Python (Django is a plus)
- Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs and Webhooks
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills
- Experience with event-driven architectures and batch processing
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and logging practices
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar
- Advanced/Fluent English (mandatory) with strong communication skills for global collaboration
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Experience building developer platforms or public APIs
- Experience integrating with CRM, RMS, or PMS platforms (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, Entrata, or similar)
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), financial reconciliation, or accounting systems
- Experience in PropTech, Multifamily, or Property Management industries
- Experience working with distributed systems and high-availability architectures
