About the role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Senior Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Assistant is in charge of process and control Accounts Payable invoices.

Responsibilities
- Receive, review and classify the invoices of the suppliers based on the internal processes we handle.
- Responsible for the analysis and reconciliation of invoices with information from the Operations team.
- File the accounting documents for internal control as well as for external users in the event of an Audit (invoices).
- Analyze and monitor the inconsistencies of the invoices, from the supplier or the Operations team.
- Responsible for good management of accounts payable (takes control of changes in bank accounts, control of advances and control of payments).
- Maintains continuous relationships with personnel from other units of the company: AP Specialist in Toronto, CEO?s (Tour Guides), Operations, Customer Service Coordinator, Operation Manager LATAM, to achieve common objectives.

Requirements
- Technical degree of Business Administration or Tourism - an Accounting degree is not required
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as an administrative or accounts payable assistant
- Intermediate/advanced level of Excel
- Intermediate level of English, oral and written, as there is a high level of written and spoken communication the Accounts Payable team of the head office in Canada

- This role is a hybrid role based out of Peru, where a minimum number of days as set by the region, is required in the Lima office.
