Contract Engineer ? Hydroelectric Project

A leading player in Peru?s renewable energy sector is seeking a Contract Engineerto support the execution of a major hydroelectric project.

This role is critical in managing engineering and construction contracts to ensure alignment with technical goals, budgetary control, and compliance standards. You'll serve as a key liaison between contractors, internal teams, and stakeholders?mitigating risks and driving efficient contract execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review, manage, and administer contracts for construction, logistics, and project services
- Coordinate with technical and financial teams to ensure contract alignment
- Monitor contractor performance, progress, and cost compliance
- Handle contract variations, extensions, and claims
- Ensure contractors meet HSE, quality, and budgetary requirements
- Support audits, inspections, and prepare progress reports
- Lead contract close-out and dispute resolution processes

What We?re Looking For:

- University degree in Engineering, Law, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in contract management for infrastructure or energy projects
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of project contracts, risk analysis, and Peruvian regulations
- Experience with EPC contracts and in the energy/electrical industry (preferred)
- English: Advanced or fully bilingual
