About the Company

We are a U.S.-based technology and professional services company with an established team in Peru and operations across Latin America.

We help clients build and support high-performing technology teams and place a strong emphasis on long-term relationships, employee development, flexibility, and a positive working environment.

We are seeking an experienced People Operations & Talent Lead based in Lima to serve as the primary HR and recruiting resource for our Peru team.

This role is focused on people: recruiting exceptional talent, supporting employees throughout their employment, coordinating HR processes, maintaining strong employee relationships, and helping ensure a positive employee experience.

The position reports directly to senior leadership in the United States and works closely with our external accounting and administrative partner in Peru.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of technology and professional talent.
- Support compensation discussions and salary recommendations.

People Operations

- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees in Peru.
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, employment documentation, and employee orientation.
- Coordinate company laptops and other employee equipment.
- Support employees with questions related to employment, benefits, vacations, policies, and HR matters.
- Coordinate vacation requests and maintain accurate employee records.
- Support salary reviews, compensation discussions, employee programs, and recognition initiatives.
- Help maintain a positive, professional, transparent, and supportive work environment.

Employee Performance & Relationships

- Maintain regular communication with employees and proactively identify concerns or opportunities.
- Support employee performance, retention, and development discussions.
- Identify employee-relations or performance concerns early and escalate them appropriately.
- Support leadership with hiring, performance management, retention, and termination decisions.
- Maintain communication with employees assigned to client teams and help support strong client relationships.

Coordination with Our Peru Accounting Partner

- Maintain close coordination with our external accounting and administrative partner.
- Provide accurate employee information for payroll, benefits, vacations, onboarding, offboarding, and compensation changes.
- Communicate approved employee updates and help ensure they are reflected correctly in administrative processes.
- Keep People Operations information accurate, organized, and up to date.

What We're Looking For

- Based in Lima, Peru.
- Professional experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting technology professionals strongly preferred.
- Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients, U.S. companies, or in a U.S.-oriented business environment is important.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong judgment and discretion with confidential matters.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and transparency.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable escalating issues when needed.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, flexible environment.
- Strong written and spoken Spanish.
- Professional English proficiency.

What Makes This Role Different

This role offers a high degree of autonomy, trust, and flexibility.

The position is remote and based in Lima, with considerable flexibility in organizing the workday and direct access to senior leadership in the United States.

We are looking for someone who can become a trusted People Operations resource for our Peru team: someone who cares about employees, communicates exceptionally well, exercises sound judgment, identifies issues early, and takes ownership without requiring constant supervision.
