🎯 Your Challenge

You will help ensure the availability, performance, security, and operational continuity of Amazon Redshift and related AWS data services.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Administering and supporting Amazon Redshift production environments. ? Managing clusters, databases, schemas, users, roles, permissions, and security configurations. ? Monitoring and optimizing SQL queries and analytical workloads. ? Optimizing distribution, sort strategies, statistics, storage, WLM, and concurrency. ? Managing snapshots, restore, and data recovery processes. ? Monitoring Redshift and AWS services using Amazon CloudWatch and observability tools. ? Troubleshooting performance, connectivity, permissions, workloads, storage, and availability issues. ? Supporting ETL/ELT processes and integrations with Data Engineering teams. ? Managing AWS networking components including VPC, Security Groups, endpoints, DNS, and SSL/TLS. ? Automating operational activities using SQL, Python, and/or Bash. ? Implementing infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation. ? Supporting Git-based and CI/CD processes for database and data platform changes. ? Participating in Incident, Problem, Change, Security, and Disaster Recovery processes.

🔎 What We?re Looking For

✔ Hands-on experience administering Amazon Redshift in production environments. ✔ Strong SQL skills and experience with query and workload performance tuning. ✔ Solid knowledge of Amazon Redshift architecture and administration. ✔ Experience managing users, roles, permissions, and database security. ✔ Practical knowledge of AWS IAM. ✔ Experience with Amazon CloudWatch and AWS monitoring tools. ✔ Knowledge of snapshots, restore, and data recovery mechanisms. ✔ Knowledge of AWS networking: VPC, Security Groups, DNS, endpoints, and SSL/TLS. ✔ Experience with ETL/ELT and data ingestion processes. ✔ Automation experience using Python and/or Bash. ✔ Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation. ✔ Familiarity with GitHub, Bitbucket, and CI/CD processes. ✔ Advanced spoken and written English ? Mandatory, as you will collaborate with international teams and stakeholders.

- Amazon S3 / Redshift integrations ? AWS Glue ? AWS RDS and other managed database services ? Datadog or similar observability platforms ? CyberArk or similar PAM solutions ? Enterprise Data Warehousing experience ? AWS Database, Data, or Solutions Architecture certifications
