Our client, a growing fintech company headquartered in Miami, FL, USA, are looking for a Claim Specialist.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Management of agreements with insurers: responsible for negotiating directly with the insurance company before filing a claim.
- Communication with insurers: carry out negotiations through email and telephone calls.
- Future billing follow-up: make calls or send communications to Claimpay or the Vendor as the case.
- Evaluation of insurance responses (HO Damage): analyze the responses of insurers regarding damages.
- Calculation of minimum acceptable values.
- File administration: Ensure that the documentation received is properly stored in the system.
- Identification of Denial Reason: update the corresponding status after a detailed evaluation of the case.
- Ensure early payment in compliance with the agreement and that arrives in a timely manner and has been duly verified to the Releases area, and complies with the corresponding follow-up.
- Send demands to the insurer: There is a goal per negotiator that must be achieved monthly.
- Ensure the correct entry of settlements to the ''Master list'' and keep our cases updated.
Requirements:
- Technical career in Administration and/or related.
- Previous experience required: 1 to 2 years in similar positions.
- Fluent English speaker
- Computer Systems: MS Office proficiency
